Wat fantastisch, die zon dit weekend. Gisteren verscheen het nieuwste nummer van Oh Marie! (met als thema Ahoy Marie!) en we ontvingen daar zoveel lieve reacties op, dat ik voorlopig nog wel even op wolken loop. De boom in onze tuin is eindelijk gaan bloeien, mijn handen jeuken vreselijk om de tuin aan te gaan leggen. Door de kou bleef die klus veel langer liggen dan gepland. Ook vonden we een geschikte man voor Streep. De eerste, een grijze lieverd die ik Plok doopte, bleek geen goede match (understatement, ze vochten elkaar de tent uit). De tweede, met de meesterlijke naam Gerrit, lijkt beter tegen haar opgewassen. Ze hebben dezelfde schattige zwaaioren, waar ik ontzettend verliefd op ben. Nu zij nog!

Such a delight, all that sunshine this weekend. Yesterday I launched the latest issue of Oh Marie! (called Ahoy Marie!) and we received so many sweet comments on it, I will be walking on sunshine for weeks. Finally, the tree in our back garden is blossoming and my hands are itching to put that garden of ours in order. And we finally found a guy for Streep. She didn’t like the first companion we picked for her (a cute grey guy called Plok, it turned out that he was scared to death to our little lioness), but this one, Gerrit, seems to be the guy for her. They have the same floppy ears, I’m totally in love with those two (and sincerely hope they will fall in love too)! I’m taking the week off, see ya!
