As you know, I like imperfect

Reading back my posts about our reconstructing project, it seems I really dislike everything about it, which is absolutely not true. I must be honest, I don’t like the chaos it causes in every aspect (chaos inside the house, our life and in my head) but I really can’t wait to go live there, and I feel so very blessed that we are able to actually make this house our home. Sometimes I get the feeling I have to give it all back when it’s all finished, it all still seems a bit unreal to me.

Another very, very (very!) nice aspect of a new home of course is that I have another new (almost blank) space to decorate. And so last week my quest for new, affordable dining table chairs began. No, I’m not sponsored by Ikea to write this post, but I did find my affordable non-mainstream chairs there. They are called PS Spika and they are adorably imperfect…just my cup of tea. Isn’t he the cutest? (Can a chair be cute? In my opinion, he can..I’d almost give him a name…something more cute than Spika of course).

I think I’m gonna paint them in a nice green colour. Please ask about my new cute chairs after this big painting project and see if I still like them…*LOL*

Have a lovely Sunday!

Hey Marlous, Supercoole stoel! Niet cute, maar stoer eigenlijk (vind ik dan). Veel succes met het verfproject (en alle andere doe-het-zelf projecten die nog op je pad komen) :D
Kom je zondag ook naar Strawberry Earth wonderland?
